Richard De Montfort

Richard was born in 1252 in Coughton, Warwickshire, , England.¹ Richard's father was Simon De Montfort. His paternal grandparents were Simon Iii Montfort and Alice Montmorency. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Piers, Henry, Simon, Amaury (Sir Canon of York), Guy, Daughter, Joanna and Eleanor. He died at the age of 29 in 1281 in Montargis, Loiret, Centre, France.¹
