Male John (1st Duke of Exeter) De Holland

John (1st Duke of Exeter) was born about 1352 in Upholland, Lancashire, England.1   John (1st Duke of Exeter)'s father was Thomas (1st Earl of Kent) De Holland and his mother was Joan 'Fair Maid of Kent' of Kent.  His paternal grandparents were Robert (Lord Holand) De Holand and Maud La Zouche; his maternal grandparents were Edmond (1st Earl of Kent) of Woodstock and Margaret (Baroness of Wake) Wake. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Edmond, Thomas (2nd Earl of Kent), Joan, Matilda (Maud) and Maud (Lady). He had a half-brother named Richard Ii King of.  He died on January 9th, 1400 in Pleshey, Essex, England (Beheaded for treason).1
