Emma father JohnBelet died 1231 and she Emma and her sister Alice who married John De Vautor t received the Manor of Sheen, known as Richmond in Domesday Survey. thus the manor of Shee n became divided. In 1253-54 Emma Oliver or Belet as she is here called,was party yo a fine w ith John de Vautort and Alice his wife as to lands in Sheen and other places,which were sai d to been the right of John Belet the father. By 1258 Emma Oliver had become the wife of Robe rt de Meleburn,and in that year they confirmed a lease of the manor Sheren(as Emma's moiety w as always called) to John Maunsel,treasurer of York and reeve of Beverley, for fourteen years .
In 1264 Emma conveyed all her lands held in chief in Sheen to the King,for him to grant to Gi lbert De Clare.
