Albert is 46 years of age and they have been married 22 years. Lyddia is 35 and the mother of 3, 3 living. The children are: Harrison, 21; Sada, 16; and Elmer, 7 years of age.
   Newspaper Obit:  Funeral services for Mrs. Lyddie Thompson Peppers, age 79 years, who died Friday at her home in this county, were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, where she was a member, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Conrad Willard. Burial was in the church Cemetery.
  She was a daughter of the late Doc and Mariah Warren Thompson.  Her Husband, Albert Peppers, and two children, Sadie and harrison Peppers, preceded her in death.
  Surviving are a son, Elmer Pepper;  nine grandchildren, three brothers and four sisters.

   In the 1920 Green County Census for Upper Brush Creek, Albert Pepper, age 57, is head of household #254. His wife, Liddie, is 49. Their son, Harrison, age 31 is living in the household. He is divorced.
   Albert may have married or been involved with Bettie Skaggs Warren. According to William T. Smith in his Thompson book, Bettie was accused of having adultery with him when she was divorced in 1884. 1833 - 1864 Albert A. Pepper 31 31 ALBERT A. PEPPER is found in family 790 in the 1860 census. He enrolled in the Union Army on Sept. 1, 1862. He was a private in Company K, 26th Ky. Infantry. He was described as 29 years old, 5 ft. 5 inches tall, gray eyes, black hair and fair akin. He was born in Green County and he farmed near Mt. Sherman. He died in a military hospital in Bowling Green, Ky. of measles on November 29, 1864. He is believed buried in the Mt. Sherman cemetery. Albert was married to Mary Ford, daughter of John Ford, and she survived him. She filed for a pension in January of 1865. John Ford in also buried in the Mt. Sherman cemetery and has a headstone, whereas, Albert does not. The commissioners overlooked him when doing their inventory.

In the 1860 LaRue County Census, Albert Peppers was family 790. He was 30 years old and was living next door to his parents. His wife, Mary, was 18.
