Autumn Morning Wedding Is of Wide Interest
Although only immediate relatives were privileged to be present at the beautiful ring ceremony, there is widespread interest in the marriage of Miss Beulah Bernice Finley, charming daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.P. Finley, of Sherman, to Willie H. Coon, of Drew, Miss., which was solemnized at the Christian parsonage on Magazine Street, Monday morning, September 28.
The lovely young bride was handsomely gowned in brown satin crepe.
The only attendant, from a distance, was Mr. Lee Coon, brother of the groom.
The bride has a very wide circle of friends to whom it is a source of much pleasure to know that her home will continue to be in Mississippi.
Mr. Coon is a successful young planter with large interests in the Delta.
Mr. Coon and his happy bride left immediately after the ceremony for their pretty new home at Mattson, it having been recently built and furnished by the fortunate groom.
A sumptuous wedding dinner was served at the home of Mrs. Iler Netterville, sister of Mr. Coon, at Drew on Monday night.
