‌Obadiah Stephen and Susan Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony on October 4th, 1838 in Martinsville, Morgan County, IN.  They had four sons and five daughters, named William, Sylvester Hanford, Jackson, Emery, Elizabeth, Francis M., Sarah A., June and Harriet.
