1st Earl of Gloucester Robert (The Consul) of Caen
Robert, known as The Consul, was born in 1090 in Caen, Calvados, Normandy, France.¹   He died at the age of 57 on October 31st, 1147 in Bristol Castle, Gloucestershire, England.  He was buried in Priory of St. James, Bristol, England.^2 3
