     LENA M. DOAN, age 90, Indianapolis, died January 2 at Wishard Hospital, there. Services were January 6 at the Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, Brother Woods officiating. Burial was in the Sparks Cemetery at Pittsboro.
  
     Born March 6, 1908 in Plainfield, she was the daughter of Harry M. and Grace (Moon) Taylor.
  
     A homemaker, she was the widow of Herman Doan who preceded in 1975.
     She is survived by sons, Herman Doan Jr. of Washington, Melvin Doan of Greenwood, Charles Doan  of Orlando, Fla., Richard Doan of Pebbles Valley, Ariz.; Phillip Doan of Indianapolis; daughters, Phyllis    Haynes of Indianapolis, Alice McKenney of Albuquerque, N.M.; brother, Charles Taylor of Beech Grove; sisters, Leona Muncy of Plainfield, Bessie Wooldridge of Indianapolis, Hortence Becroft of Rushville and Barbara Brooks of Seymour; 21 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren and 10 great- great- grandchildren

     INDIANAPOLIS -- Lena M. Taylor Doan. 90, died Jan. 2 at Wishard Hospital, Indianapolis.
  Doan was born March 6, 1908, to Harry M. and Grace (Moon) Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband Herman Doan.
  Doan was a homemaker.
     Survivors include five sons, Herman Doan, Jr. of Washington, Ind., Melvin Doan of Greenwood, Charles Doan of Orlando, Fla., Richard Doan of Pebbles Valley. Ariz. and Phillip Doan of Indianapolis; two daughters, Phyliss Haynes of Indianapolis and Alice McKenney of Albuquerque, N.M.; one brother, Charles Taylor of Beech Grove, Ind. four sisters, Leona Muncy of Plainfield, Bessie Wooldrige of Indianapolis.
