Ruby Lee Skaggs, 88
Ruby Lee Skaggs, 88, of Sanders Road in Campbellsville, Ky., died on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004, at Metzmeier Nursing Home after an illness.
Daughter of the late Charlie and Violet Cox Sanders, she was a homemaker and a member of Saloma Baptist Church.
She was married to Edgar Skaggs, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter, Elliott Skaggs of Greenville, Ky., and Wilson Skaggs and Judy Wurmser, both of Campbellsville; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Mildred Sanders; and three nephews and two nieces.
Besides her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Durham Sanders.
Funeral was Thursday, Jan. 22 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Earl Pike officiated.
Pallbearers were Mike Skaggs, Billy Skaggs, Ronnie Skaggs, Anthony Skaggs and Charlie Skaggs, Joey Skaggs.
