Anne Gascoigne

Anne was born in 1436 in Gowthorpe, Yorkshire, England.¹ Anne's father was William Gascoigne and her mother was Margaret Clarelle. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Clarell and Maud Montgomery. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Robert, John, Ralph, William XI, Jane, Elianora (Anne), Amy, Margaret, Ellen and Joan. She was the fifth youngest of the eleven children.
