Clarinda APPLEGATE 
Clarinda was born on April 29th, 1826 in Mason Co., Kentucky.1 She died at the age of 65 on April 4th, 1892 in Montezuma, Poweshiek Co., Iowa.1 General Notes
From Murrow surname board: am attempting to locate the parents [They areNOT Joseph & Lavina (nee Blunk) Applegate - I have documentation that supports this.] of Clarinda Applegate (David's wife) and would appreciate hearing from someone who has documentation of David & Clarinda's marriage. I had the source as his Civil War pension file. A pension she received as a widow...but have either misplaced it or misread the "guardianship" file for her children. It appears she received a widow's pension until her second marriage to James Booze in 1868 for the guardianship papers make several references to it.
