Richard F. Anderson, 51, R.D. 1, Cambridge Springs, died at CityHospital, Saturday, Aug. 10, 1985, following a lengthy illness.
He was born at Washington Feb. 9, 1934, a son of Joseph and OliveFilby Anderson. he married Sally Baker March 20, 1953. She survives.
Mr. Anderson was an employee of Talon, Inc. for 12 years. He was aveteran of the Korean War, serving with the United States Army, andwas a member of Meadville Eagles Club.
Survivors in addition to his wife include his mother, Mrs. Joseph(Olive) Anderson, Washington; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Debbie)Smith, Cambridge Springs; Darla Anderson, at home; four sons, DouglasAnderson, Edinboro; David Anderson, Dean Anderson and Dennis Anderson,all at home; two sisters, Mrs. Jack (Peggy) Hammond, Washington; Mrs.Ralph (Wilma) Cross, Grape Vine, TX; a brother, Carl Anderson, UnitedStates civil service of Saudi Arabia; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at H. William VanMatre Funeral Home, Cambridge Springs, where funeral services will beheld Tuesday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Donald Miles, pastor ofChristian Missionary and Alliance Church, officiating. Interment willbe at Venango Cemetery.
