Narrative
The Bolling family is a very ancient one. During the reign of KingEdward IV, Robert Bolling, Esq. possessed and resided at "BollingHall", near Bradford in Yorkshire, England. There, many generationsof his ancestors in the enjoyment of life had lived. This RobertBolling died in 1485, and was buried in the family vault in the Churchat Bradford. "Bolling Hall", passed in succession to the family ofTristram Bolling, whose daughter and heiress, Rosemond Bolling,married Sir Richard Tempest. John Bolling, of "All Hollows", BarkingParish, Tower Street, London, England, was of the Bollings of "BollingHall", Yorkshire, England.
