Henry de la Pomeroy 5th (1211-1235) All that can be proved about this man is that he lived just 24 years, and that he died in the Holy Land. Some reasonable assumptions about him can be made because of his age and where he died. It is probable that he went to the Holy Land on a Crusade, and that he died either as a result of wounds received in a battle there, or as a result of an illness suffered there. Even though he lived only 24 years, he managed to marry and produce at least one son, Henry de la Pomeroy 6th, who continued the family line.
