‌Stedman and Sophia were married in a religious ceremony in 1812.¹   They had seven sons and three daughters, named Rhodolphus, Stedman, Aaron, Ebenezer, Timothy, Harlin, Zenas, Sophia, Harriet and Elizabeth.
