‌Malcolm Purcell and Almena McLeod were married in a religious ceremony.¹   They had five sons and three daughters, named Lacy, James Kenneth, John Luther, Malcolm Purcell, William Angus, Clara Lee, Margaret Currie and Mary Virginia.
