John Calvin and Sarah were married in a religious ceremony on May 31st, 1836 in Wayne, Kentucky.1 They had nine sons and five daughters, named James, Jonathan Smith, Henry Decker, John Garrett, Wilson N(Neep), William Cooper, Ephriam B., Ruben Dowell, Isaac, Nancy, Ursla, Martha, Elizabeth and Mary Jane.

Jonathan Smith was born on September 8th, 1839.2 He died at the age of 44 on April 18th, 1884.2
