James and Temperance were married in a religious ceremony on September 12th, 1841.1 They had two sons and six daughters, named Charles Wesley, James Perry Green, Lydia Morgan, Adaline Davison, Adelaide, Cheerful Florence, Mary Saloma and Nellie Viola.
