‌Elisha and Experience were married in a religious ceremony in 1799.¹   They had eight sons and two daughters, and also a child of unknown gender, named Allenson, Alvan, Henry, Hiram, Joseph, Elisha, Elisha, Oliver, Caroline, Emily and Infant.
