‌David and Ruth were married in a religious ceremony on November 19th, 1747 in MAssachusetts.¹   They had five sons and seven daughters, named Samuel, Samuel, Seth, David, William, Mary, Ruth, Sarah, Naomi, Azubah, Phebe Phoebe and Elizabeth.
