‌Daniel and Mary were married in a religious ceremony about 1800.¹   They had seven sons and six daughters, named John, James, William R., Joseph, Solomon, Enoch, Silas, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Julia Ann, Barbara, Lucinda and Keziah.
