Andrew Jackson Addington & Verlina Easter Hutchinson 
Andrew Jackson and Verlina Easter were married in a religious ceremony on December 23rd, 1833 in Scott County, Virginia. They had six sons and five daughters, named George Hopkins, Andrew Jackson, John H., Solomaon Sizemore, Elbert L., James D., Margaret, Elizabeth, Sarah Verlina, Melvina and Henderson.
Family Notes
Andrew Jackson and Verlina lived on the bluff above Clinch River, between Dungannon and Nickelsville, Scott County, Virginia. Their farm was large and made up of sloping fields, wooded ridges and hills. Cold springs bubbled up in convenient plaxes and a brook headed and flowed through one side of the land making it ideal for rearing a large family.
Andrew Jackson and Verlina were married at the old home near the Buckeye Spring west of the schoolhouse (Moore's Gate). They moved to the homestead on the top of the Copper Ridge and built their house on the top of the hill. This being too far from the water, he built again farther down, near a large spring, where they spent the rest of their lives, except for the last few years which were spent with their youngest daughter.
