Elizabeth Browning Turner wife of Henry Willis Phelps was called "Lizzy." There is a plot for the family in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewiston, Illinois cemetery for them and 2 infant deaths - a daughter (12\2\1887) and a son (11\17\1890).
Elizabeth Phelps was a member of the choir and an organist at the Presbyterian church in Lewiston, Illinois. An organ was given to the church and dedicated in memory of her in 1908 by her husband. The plaque on the organ reads: "In memory of E.B.T. Phelps. 1908."
