Cyrus Henderson was born on June 1st, 1826. He died at the age of 63 on February 26th, 1890 in Scott County, Virginia.
General Notes
Cyrus and his son John H. were drowned when their boat overturned in Clinch River at the mouth of Guest's River. Preacher Willie Stallard saved himself by catching hold of the bushes on the river bank. The men were on their way to get paychecks for work on the building of the new railroad into Wise County.
