John Oscar Rose

John Oscar was born on October 23rd, 1847 in Council Bluff, Pottawattamie, Iowa.¹  He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Andrew, William Arnold, Lydia Marie, Lucinda, Mary Ann, Catherine Mariah, Aurelia Minerva, Almira and Rebecca Ann.  He was the fifth youngest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 76 on October 5th, 1924 in Oakland, Alemeda, California.¹
