Peter was born on December 18th, 1845 in Sweden.1  He had two sisters named Augusta (Gustava) and Johanna Christine.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 78 on December 15th, 1924 in Ludington, Mason Co, Michigan.1
