        Her grandfather, Stephen Miller, served in the Revolution under General Gates.  He was in the Battle of Saratoga, and took part in the capture of Burgoyne.  His wife, Priscilla Wolcott, was a descendant of Oliver Wolcott, a Rev. soldier, a member of the Continental Congress, and a signer of the Declaration of Independence.
