!My mother (Dorothy Kent Brace) always said her grandfather was an orphan and
did not know who his parents were. He knew he was born in New York, but didn't
know his age etc. I did locate a picture of a lady that was labeled as his
sister, though. Her name was stated as Sarah A. Brown (sister of James Lucas)
30 years of age the 31st of July 1861.
