Henry Hopkins

Henry was born on May 7th, 1842 in Camden Co., GA.¹ Henry's father was Benjamin Hopkins and his mother was Susan Lodviski Dixon Floyd. His paternal grandparents were Francis Hopkins and Rebecca Sayre; his maternal grandparents were John Floyd and Isabella Maria Hazard. He had five brothers and four sisters, named John Francis, Charles Rinaldo, John Floyd, Joseph Mulvy, Francis, Cornelia Carolina Christina, America Rebecca, Mary Hamilton and Isabella Maria. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 36 in 1878.¹
