Lancelot Granger 
Lancelot was born on June 25th, 1637 in Eng and his baptism took place on June 25th, 1637 in Shellington, Bedfordshire, England.1 He died at the age of 52 on September 3rd, 1689 in Suffield, Hartford, CT. He was buried in September 1689 in Suffield, Massachussetts.1 1 General Notes

Launcelot Granger:

Launcelot was stolen from his mother (father was dead) when 12-14 years old. He was brought to Plymouth, Massachusetts where he was sold to serve 2 years as a cabin boy. Lived in Ipswich in 1648 then Newbury for 20 years and finally Suffield, Connecticut. He was a puritan and was in the Massachusetts Bay area in 1650. A large maple tree that he planted still stands in front of his home and is known as Launcelot Granger Tree.
