Rene Ancelin 
Rene was born in 1600 in La Rochelle, Aunis, France. He died at the age of 95 on November 20th, 1695 in Riviere Ouelle, Province of Quebec, Canada.General Notes
In the spring of 1665, Rene, his new pregnant wife, and his 11 year old daughter (from his first marriage), emigrated to Canada. They first settled in Ange Gardien. In 1667, they owned 2 head of cattle, and had 6 acres of cultivated land.
