Nathaniel was a part of the U.S. forces captured at Fort Washington (New York City) on 16 Nov 1776. He died a prisioner of war in a sugarhouse prision in New York harbor. He died of small pox. Only six of his captured regiment survived prision. - from List of Men in Col. GBradley's Regt taken Prisiner appearing in 'Revolutionary War' vol 31 pg 339, State Library. They probably belonged to Capt Beebe's Company.
Husband #2 came from Hamden Ct in 1798 to Cayuga County NY - came with his brother John. The family moved from New York to Summit County, Ohio in 1811.
