13 May 1765, George Finley, Jr. born to George and Ann Newlund Finley in VA (undocumented); died Cynthiana, Harrison Co., KY between 10 July 1818 and 19 May 1819; married Mary Chenoweth; executors of will Mary Finley and George Parmer; witnesses: David Caldwell, Joseph Caldwell; settled Bourbon Co. 1785; moved to Woodford Co., 20 Jan 1798 onto 323 a. Glenn's Creek owned by father as a grant 16 December 1786; George Finley, Jr., sold, 16 April 1792/3 to William and Jane Gaines and purchased 250 a. in Harrison Co. from James Shanklin.

24 April 1810, George Findley to Molly Lemmon, marriage, attest: Andrew Moore, bond: Sam Blackwell.

28 April 1810, George Findley and Samuel McMillan, deposition, prisoner of Indians 15 years.

July 1818, George Findley will, names wife Polly, daughters Jane and Polly.

August 1818, George Findley, inventory and appraisement.

15 August 1834, John Lail guardian of heirs of George Findley, deceased.

7 May 1835, George Finley, deceased, final settlement.

Note (undocumented): 23 November 1879, Margaret (Sellers) Kline, b. 1 July 1776 died age 93 years, 4 months, 21 days. Ancestors came from County Antrim, Ireland and were named Finley. Her grandfather, John Finley had a brother George captured by Indians when a boy and adopted by them. Sellers were natives of PA, went to Bryan's Station, where Margaret was born. She afterwards moved to Cynthiana, HarrisonCo., KY, and to Eaton in 1819 where she married Jacob Kline in 1820. He died 25 February 1875. (Jackson &Talley, Eastern KY References).
