  For a lack of a better place I am convinced this article is related to this family so when I find more info I will move it to the proper place.  I just don't want this info lost because " Star Limes Works"  is like an" Atlantis", a city lost under water.
  Mr. Frank DePriest standing in front of his grocery in the Star Limeworks community.  Mr DePriest was the decendant of a French soldier who came to America to fight with LaFayette.  On their tour of the western frontier after the Revolutionary War, DePriest decided to stay "Between the Rivers".  This family was forced to leave because such commercial activity would not be allowed in the new recreation area.  The site of DePriest Grocery is within half a mile of TVA's new grocery store at Hillman Ferry Campground.
  
  Frank DePriest
  Frank DePriest, 86, of Grand Rivers and formerly of Between the Rivers, died Tuesday, (April 30, 1996), in McCracken County as a result of an automobile accident.
  A member of the Grand Rivers United Methodist Church, a 32nd degree member of the Scottish Rite of Madisonville and a member of Joppa Masonic Lodge No. 167 in Eddyville, he was a former grocery store owner and farmer in Between the Rivers and in Lyon County and the son of the late James C. and Eliza Barnett DePriest.
  He was preceded in death by its first wife, Edna Chambers DePriest in September 1966, his second wife, Myrtle Holloway DePriest in September 1989, two sisters and five brothers.
  Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Sanders of Grand Rivers and Karon DePriest of Paducah; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
  Funeral services were conducted Thursday, May 2nd, at 1:00 p.m. at Dunn's Funeral Home in Eddyville with the Rev. Doug Phillips officiating.
  Burial followed in Rolling Hills Cemetery in Eddyville, Ky.
