Bertha Sargent 
Bertha was born on August 23rd, 1822 in Strafford, Vermont. Bertha's father was Noah Sargent and her mother was Lucinda Roberts. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Sargent and Susan. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, John, George, Nathan W., Myram, Martha, Sarah and Elsa. She is the third oldest of the nine children.-
