Sarah and Abraham were married in a religious ceremony on March 24th, 1785 in Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts. They had a son and ten daughters, named Abner, Phebe, Miriam, Judith, Rhoda, Hannah, Marie Wheelock, Sarah, Nancy, Comfort and Martha.
