Henry I Capet of was born about May 1008 in Reims, France.  Henry I Capet of's father was Robert Magnus and his mother was Constance of Provence.  His paternal grandparents were Hughes I "Capet" of France and Adelaide (Alix) of Poitou; his maternal grandparents were Guillaume III Taillefer of Toulouse and Blanche Arsinde. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Hugh Magnus of, Robert I "The Old Duke" of, Eudo (Odes) of, Adele (Alix) Capet of, Adelaide Havoise of and Constance of.  He died in Vitry-aus-Loges, Brie, France.  He was buried in Saint Denis Basilica.
