Louis VII "The Younger" was born in 1120 in Reims, Marne, Champagne-Ardenne, France.  Louis VII "The Younger"'s father was Louis VI Capet of France and his mother was Adelheid di Savoia.  His paternal grandparents were Philippe I Capet of France and Bertha Von Friesland; his maternal grandparents were Humbert II de Maurienne & Savoy and Gisele De Macon De Bourgogne. He had six brothers and a sister, named Philippe, Henri, Robert of, Hugues, Pierre I, Philippe and Constance of.  He died at the age of 60 on September 18th, 1180 in Paris, France.  He was buried on September 19th, 1180 in Notre Dame de Barbeau (near Fontainbleu) France.
