Eleanor was born in 1392 in Upholland, Lancashire, England.  Eleanor's father was Thomas de Holand and her mother was Alice FitzAlan.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas de Holand and Princess Joan ("Fair Maid of Kent") Plantagenet of Wales; her maternal grandparents were Earl Richard ("Copped Hat") FitzAlan of Arundel and Eleanor Plantagenet.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 13 on October 18th, 1405.  She was buried on October 23rd, 1405 in Bisham, Berkshire, England.
