Henry was born about 1045 in Neubourg, Manche, France.  Henry's father was Roger de Beaumont and his mother was Lady Adeline de Meulan of Beaumont.  His paternal grandparents were Lord Humphrey de Harcourt de Vieilles and Aubreye de la Haie; his maternal grandfather was Count Waleran de Beaumont of Meulant and his maternal grandmother is Oda de Conteville. He had two brothers named Robert and Robert.  He was the oldest of the three children. He had a half-brother named William.  He died about June 20th, 1119 in Ponteaudemer, Normandy, , France.  He was buried in Abbey Of Preaux, Pont-Audemer, France.

‌Henry and Margaret were married in a religious ceremony before 1100 in Perche, Normandy, France.  They had a son and two daughters, named Roger, Adeline de Newburg and Agnes.
