Dubh was born about 0930. Dubh's father was King Malcolm I of Scotland. His paternal grandfather was King Donald (Dasachtach) II of Scotland. He had two brothers named Duff and Kenneth II. He was the oldest of the three children. He died in 0967.General Notes
