Eudoxia Ingerina was born in Constantinople, Constantinople, Turkey.  Eudoxia Ingerina's father was Emperor Inger (the Scandanavian) Theophilus and her mother was Theodara.  Her paternal grandparents were Emperor Michael ("the Amorian", "the Stammerer") II of the Byzantium Empire and Thekla of the Mamikonid.  She was an only child.
