Alsey Ruth Gibson 
Alsey Ruth was born in 1785 in Caswell Co Nc.1 She had two sisters named Elizabeth and Parthenia. She was the youngest of the three children. She died at the age of 73 in 1858 in Hopkins Co. Tx.1
Alsey Ruth and Jacob Marion were married in a religious ceremony on May 13th, 1805 in Christian Co. Ky.2
