Perry Sylvester Bess was born on October 3rd, 1877 in Roane County, West Virginia.  He died at the age of 70 on December 25th, 1947 in Roane County, West Virginia.  He was buried in Rocky Branch Cemetery,Johnson Creek,Kanawha County, WV.

Sarah Elizabeth was born on April 19th, 1885 in Pad, Walton, West Virginia.  She died at the age of 21 on January 25th, 1907.
