Herman Ray was born on August 17th, 1921 in Kentucky.¹   He died at the age of 66 on May 15th, 1988 in Hodgenville, LaRue Co., Kentucky.  He was buried in Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery, Green Co., Kentucky.^1 1
