‌David and Mary Purnell Tabitha were married in a religious ceremony on January 14th, 1838 in Madison Co. , Alabama.¹   They have six sons and three daughters, named Anthony Bouldin, David Davis, Mariam Winchester, Winchester Bleadsoe, Ferdinand Hammond, Yancey Howard, Priscilla Bouldin, Mary Bleadsoe and Sally Watkins.
