Cornelius was born on February 22nd, 1892 in Clear Creek, Perry Co., Kentucky.¹   He died at the age of 71 in May 1963 in Hazard, Perry Co., Kentucky.  He was buried in Singleton Cemetery, Clear Creek, Knott Co., Kentucky.^1 1
