John Harmon, Jr. York 
John Harmon, Jr. was born on November 29th, 1848 in Alabama.1 John Harmon, Jr.'s father was John Harmon York and his mother was Lucinda Davis. His paternal grandparents are John York and Rebecca Howell; his maternal grandparents were Harmon Davis and Nancy Posey. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Ezekial, Van Daniel, William Franklin, Mary Ann Rebecca and Nancy I.. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 70 on January 9th, 1919 in Itawamba Co., Mississippi.1 General Notes
