James Joseph West

James Joseph was born on June 11th, 1839 in Texas.¹   James Joseph's father was James Hampton West and his mother is Jane Ann Unknown.  His paternal grandparents are Levi West and Wife Unknown. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Martin C., Wade Hampton, Jacob, Harriet, Missouri Ann and Julia Ann.  He was the youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 87 on June 12th, 1926 in Pharr, Hidalgo Co., Texas.¹ 

‌James Joseph and Roseanna were married in a religious ceremony on July 29th, 1858 in Atascosa, Texas.¹
