Vernie Ester was born on May 15th, 1920 in Kentucky.1 Vernie Ester's father was Jesse Rodman Warren and her mother was Mary Green DeSpain. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Archie Warren and Malinda A. DeSpain. She had a brother and two sisters, named Claude E., Bessie Alice and Dora Dean. She died at the age of 49 on February 14th, 1970 in Kentucky. She was buried in DeSpain-Thompson Cemetery near Pleasant Ridge, LaRue Co., Kentucky.1 1 General Notes
